Danceworks performance workshops are for serious students who are interested in performing and have a minimum of 3-4 years of consistent dance training. Choreography taught in these workshops will be performed in Danceworks DanceLAB concert, Rhythmworks August 12-14, 2022.
Due to the performance component of the workshops, consistent attendance is required to participate in the performance opportunities. We do encourage everyone participating in the workshop to be part of the performance. The performance is not mandatory, however, choreographers must be aware of this before they begin setting the work. DanceLab performances are ticketed events and anyone attending must purchase a ticket.

Jazz Performance Workshop | Monday 6:45- 8 pm | June 20-August 8 | $110
(no workshop on July 4)
The jazz performance workshop is an opportunity for dancers to enhance their knowledge of jazz dance through movement focusing on style, musicality and isolation. Participants will move to upbeat tunes and be featured in a piece of choreography to be performed in the Danceworks DanceLab concert, Rhythmworks, August 12-14, 2022. This workshop is appropriate for teen-adult dancers who are at an intermediate/advanced level.

Hip Hop Performance Workshop | Tuesday 5:45-7 pm| June 21-August 9 | $125
The hip hop performance workshop will focus on musicality, execution of movement style, and enhancing performance quality. Choreography taught in this workshop will be performed in Danceworks DanceLAB concert, Rhythmworks August 12-14, 2022. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate/advanced dancers teen through adult.

Tap Dance Performance Workshop | Wednesday 6:30-7:45 pm | June 22- August | $125
The tap performance workshop will explore the many layers that go into tap dance choreography including musicality, articulation, and rhythm. Participants will learn an exhilarating piece of choreography to be performed in Danceworks DanceLab concert, Rhythmworks, August 12-14, 2022. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate/advanced dancers teen through adult.
