Performance Workshops (ages 14+)

Danceworks’ Summer Performance Workshops are for serious students who are interested in performing and have a minimum of 5 years of consistent dance training and are an intermediate level. Due to the performance component of the workshops, consistent attendance is required to participate in the performance opportunities. We do encourage everyone participating in the workshop to be part of the performance, however, the performance is not mandatory. (Choreographers must be aware of participation preferences before they begin setting the work).

Questions? Email us at

Have a few questions? Check out these FAQs about our virtual and in-studio adult classes:

  • What if a class I want to take is already full? If a class is full you can add you/your child to the class waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified by phone.
  • What if I purchase a virtual class and the class is about to start and I do not have the class link? After checking your spam folder, reach out to us in a private message on Facebook or email and we’ll do our best to get the link to you asap.
  • When will I receive a link for a pre-recorded class that I purchased? A link will be emailed to you approximately one hour before the class was advertised to be available. Pre-recorded classes are accessible for 24 hours from the day it was scheduled.
  • What happens if I register for a class and then can’t make it to the class? Danceworks has a no refund policy. If you pre register for a class using a class card, weekly/monthly pass, or pay for it as a single class, you will be charged for the class. This policy is in place due to the very limited capacity we have for each class.
  • Why don’t I get Danceworks emails with class information? Make sure we have your most updated contact information. Is it possible that you might have unsubscribed from our emails?  This might be another reason why you haven’t heard from us. If so, no worries- we can add you back on. Please email with any questions regarding our mailing list.
  • Does Danceworks take walk-in registrations? Due to COVID-19, we are limiting our class sizes and all registrations must be made at least 2 hours before a class is scheduled to begin to ensure we do not exceed our capacities.

For questions about our studio classes, please contact Danceworks Director of Education, Amy Brinkman, via email. Thank you!
