This is the 6th year that Danceworks DanceLAB recognizes the passion, commitment and artistry of the area’s hip hop dance crews and other percussive dance art forms in Ignite: A Hip Hop Dance Experience. Do you dream of dancing in Ignite? This summer, you can!
Ignite: Hip Hop Choreography & Performance Workshop
Dates: Tuesdays, June 5 – July 24
Time: 7:30-9:00pm
Instructor: Paul Webb
Cost: $100/8-week series
This workshop is for students who want to perform and have a three-year minimum of hip hop dance experience. The workshop will focus on musicality, execution of movement style, and enhancing performance quality. Urban Dance choreographer, Paul Webb, will lead the workshop.
Choreography learned will be performed in Danceworks DanceLAB concert, Ignite: A Hip Hop Dance Experience, on July 28 & 29. Due to the performance component of this workshop, consistent attendance to all eight workshop dates is required.
