Danceworks Performance MKE will close its season with a big show titled Small But Mighty.Meet Lindsay Olson, one of our bright new additions to the Danceworks board!
Lindsay brings a necessary area of expertise to a growing organization like Danceworks—Human Resources. She’s our resource for making sure that we’re resourceful humans!
Lindsay has been instrumental in finalizing our newest Policies and Procedures Employee Handbook and brings great energy and expertise to our Governance Committee.
Beginning her career at Charter Manufacturing (CM) as an intern eight years ago, she is now a Senior Human Resource Representative, where her responsibilities lie in growth-oriented strategy. In addition to her responsibilities locally, she also travels to CM’s new business Charter Dura-Bar in Woodstock, Illinois one to two days per week.
It was Danceworks President Elect, Danielle Bly, who introduced Tim and me to Lindsay. We were http://buysoma.net immediately drawn to her generous nature and contagious laugh. She was a dancer as a child and enjoyed the theatre district while she was working in Cleveland before moving back to Milwaukee. Lindsay thought that joining the Danceworks board would be a great first step in getting involved back in the arts, and we are all thrilled about that.
Lindsay finds balance in life by knowing when it’s okay to leave work, trusting that the work will be there tomorrow. She places high value on that balance, and as an avid sports fan, enjoys traveling to different sporting events throughout the year with her family.
Please join me in officially welcoming Lindsay to Danceworks’ Board!
Welcome to the Danceworks blog, where we're hoping to share a little bit more about the heart and soul behind Danceworks… what made us join the dance and keeps us dancing, what keeps us inspired, and where we can share some of the stories worth telling.
