Danceworks enhances the joy, health, and creativity of the Milwaukee community by taking dance and arts education out of the studio and theatre and into our neighborhoods.

The resulting created works resonate with diverse groups of people. Multi-layered programs and activities fulfill our mission, serving thousands of children, adults and seniors each year.
We continually work to produce meaningful, affordable and collaborative arts programming with partners like you. In 2016-17 alone, our Teaching Artists worked with over 120 organizations including schools, community centers, businesses and non-profits, and with independent leaders who believe in the transformative https://onhealthy.net/product/tramadol/ power of the arts.

We are most known for our Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap Program, which has brought 550,000 hours of dance instruction to our schools over the past 11 years. Other community programs like Danceworks Generations, off-site workshops and residencies, Free-For-All days at our Water Street studio location, and DanceLAB events for emerging and established dance and theater artists, are how Danceworks continues to be the driving force that connects creativity and community through the arts and dance.
