Danceworks Studio Policies

Danceworks’ studio philosophy is to nurture and develop the spirit and the body through dance technique, physical discipline and self-expression. Our instructors are experienced professional dancers and dance educators who have the necessary knowledge to teach students of varying ages and ability levels.

Our classes and programs are dedicated to helping every student reach their fullest potential, both physically and mentally. We believe that all people benefit from dance and other arts activities. We strive to create an environment in which each student develops self-discipline, self-confidence and enthusiasm for the performing arts. Danceworks sets class capacities that allow instructors to get to know each student as an individual and to ensure that students receive the personal attention they need to succeed.

Fragrance Policy:

It’s been brought to our attention that some of our students suffer from serious health consequences brought on by scents from products such as perfume and lotions. Our goal is to provide the best class experience possible and to help maintain a healthy environment for everyone, especially those who may be sensitive to fragrances and scents. In order to accommodate these students we encourage all of our students to refrain from wearing scents to class including but not limited to colognes, after-shave lotions, perfumes, body lotions, hair sprays or similar products. We appreciate your attention to this matter.
