Happy #WhyDanceWednesday! This week, #DanceworksMKE student Carlos Gomez shares with us 3 of the most important reasons he loves to dance. YOUR TURN! Share a fun #DanceworksFamily memory or why you dance in the comment section below 👇 ![]()
"When thinking of Danceworks, the following thoughts come to mind: ![]()
1) Friendship: I have been able to meet and make friendships late in life, memories that bring a smile to my face and I will always remember. ![]()
2) Challenge: There is a risk taken when learning to dance. Challenging oneself to remember and execute dance movements excels us to the best of our ability. In my mind, this equals self evaluation.![]()
3) Fun: More importantly self satisfaction, fun and enjoyment in learning to DANCE. This could not have been possible without Danceworks' dance professionals and instructors that care for each class and each student. Whether one is a young dancer, a young adult, or a dancer over 55 years of age, one feels like family – the Danceworks family. ![]()
These are just some of the many reasons why I dance. Thank you, Danceworks!" -Carlos Gomez, Danceworks Student
