Calling all youth performers, choreographers, composers, directors, poets, and creative artists! 

Danceworks invites Milwaukee and Midwest artists to submit original work for Get It Out There – YOUTH an evening celebrating the creativity, talent, and artistic voices of young performers. Presented as part of the DanceLAB Series, Get It Out There – YOUTH showcases newly created works in dance, music, theatre, and spoken word, performed exclusively by youth artists. Whether you’re developing a brand-new piece or looking for another opportunity to share a recently created work, we encourage you to apply. The performance will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center.

We believe young artists deserve opportunities to experiment, perform, and have their creative voices heard.Get It Out There – YOUH is designed to celebrate original ideas, encourage artistic risk-taking, and provide a professional platform for emerging youth creators and performers.

We can’t wait to see what you create.  There is no fee to apply.  Applications Due August 8, 2026.
