Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level? Our performance workshops are designed for the serious dancer who is interested in performing. Participants will have the opportunity to perform in collaboration with particular Danceworks events in our DanceLAB Summer Series.
Due to the performance component of these workshops, consistent attendance to all workshop dates is required.
Join the dancemaking process with Artistic Director Dani Kuepper in weekly rehearsals that prepare participants for a variety of performance opportunities on the 2020-21 DanceLAB and DPMKE concert season.
This performance workshop will be led by Danceworks On Tap Artistic Director, Amy Brinkman. Participants will learn tap choreography and have the opportunity to perform in Danceworks On Tap’s summer concert on August 8 & 9 as part of the 20-21 DanceLAB season.
*A minimum of 4 years of tap training is required for this workshop.
This tap workshop will focus on musicality, articulation, full-body expression and performance quality. choreography taught in this workshop will be performed in Danceworks On Tap DanceLAB concert, 20/20: Then & Now on August 8 & 9.
K-Pop is known for being upbeat, up-tempo and packed with varying melodies and harmonies. Workshop participants will learn dynamic K-Pop choreography to be performed as part of Danceworks DanceLAB concert, Get It Out There on October 10.
