In an overabundance of caution for the health and safety of our students, Danceworks is temporarily closed until further notice. As we continue to closely track developments regarding COVID-19, the decision to reopen will be made with the health of our customers and employees as our top priority.
We know that dance and movement are vital parts of our lives, and the well-being of our community is our highest priority. So, we have created online video alternatives to our on-site classes that will help you incorporate movement and dance (not stress) while you’re at home.

Virtual classes are convenient but, you can’t always get the feedback you need. Now you can schedule a virtual one on one session with one of our professional instructors to ask questions and work on techniques specific to you. Small groups of up to 3 dancers can also be scheduled.
Sessions can be arranged around your schedule and are available in a wide range of dance styles and levels. All private sessions are with a qualified member of the Danceworks faculty who specializes in the dance style requested. Lesson material is based on your individual needs and moves at a pace that is comfortable for you. Private lessons can be scheduled as a single class or on an ongoing basis.
DISCLAIMER: Dance can be a strenuous activity/art form. Please know that if you choose to participate in our classes and other video presentations, you are responsible for making sure you have adequate space and proper surfaces to avoid injury.
It is also very important to listen to your body, participate at your own pace and modify it as necessary as we are not there and able to observe.
