The wind blows a chilly fall breeze, sending leaves tumbling down the street. It's Halloween night. House lights flutter on, and Trick 'or' Treaters flood the streets. A group of teens, "too cool" to join in on the fun, challenge each other to an evening of horror movies instead. After hours of watching ghastly movie monsters causing mayhem, their own minds start playing tricks on them...

BEWARE: This dance show is spooky! Recommended for those who like creepy fun, danced by ghouls and ghosts.

Tickets: Adult $13.75 // Student/Senior $8.75

Snag some treats and view a creeptastic performance! Feeling extra festive? Dress up to enter the costume contest and take part in other freakishly fun activities... if you dare!

Performance features Danceworks Youth Performance Company and selected Danceworks studio classes.

One More Chance

It was the end of the day on a Friday. As I stepped over students waiting for class, maneuvered around parents’ knees with computers and children in their laps in our crowded studio hallway, I had an upcoming Monday morning appointment … Continue reading

The Most Fun I Ever Had

Posted on by Deborah Farris

As we turn the page to a new chapter and begin 2016, I remember, at this time ten years ago, 22 Milwaukee schools were lining up—literally—to kick off Mad Hot in Milwaukee. The Marcus Center and UPAF  had endorsed the program and we filled Uihlein … Continue reading
