Danceworks Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap Phase II Performance Group Auditions
Phase II provides continued dance training and performance opportunities to students who have already participated in Danceworks Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap. The Phase II season runs from October 13, 2010 – May 2011. During this season, the Phase II Performance Group will be asked to perform at various events throughout the Milwaukee area. These frequent performance opportunities provide many chances for the group to positively represent the MHBT program.
Who can audition? Auditions will be open to former Phase II students, former MHBT students, MHBT finalists from the 2010 MHBT Competition, and MHBT students who were recommended by his or her Danceworks instructor.

Intensive Study Scholarships
The Intensive Study Scholarship is for Intermediate to Advanced dancers ages 16 through adult who have the desire to improve their technical skills, range, and expression through concentrated dance training and faculty feedback.
The Intensive Study scholarship grew out of Danceworks' desire to extend our knowledge to the serious young dancers in our community. We want to reach dancers who will benefit from financial assistance with their classes, exposure to a wide range of techniques, mentoring, job shadowing, performance/choreography skills, and a learning experience about the career side of dance that only an organization with our many facets can offer.
ISS Includes:
- An I.S. Scholarship that covers one third of the regular tuition for the 3 required classes.
- A diverse class schedule set by students and faculty with a required minimum of 3 classes/week. Students may take an unlimited amount of classes on the I.S. Scholarship.
- Faculty feedback given at the end of each session.
- Preferential consideration in subsequent DPC 2 auditions.
Upcoming Audition Dates:
