Jennifer Gantzer began dancing at a young age, but didn’t realize her true love of the art form until she began teaching while in high school. Her new-found love for dance education encouraged her to pursue a dance degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While attending the university, she also toured the Midwest as a singer/dancer with the Wisconsin Singers, a Broadway-caliber performing arts troupe under the direction of Robin Whitty-Novotny. Throughout Jennifer’s time with the Wisconsin Singers, she performed in over 100 shows. In 2010, she received her BS in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and resumed teaching in the Fox Valley. After marrying, she moved to Milwaukee and instantly fell in love with the Danceworks organization. She currently serves as faculty for the IMAP, MHBT, summer camp, studio, and outreach programs, and as Development Coordinator on staff at Danceworks. She considers it an honor and a blessing to be a member of the Danceworks faculty.
